Right from Taormina, the next 11 July, the Italian minitour will begin which will also see them perform in Udine (13 July), to Breno, in the province of Brescia, (7 August) and in Forte dei Marmi, in the province of Lucca (8 August). BIRTH OF JETHRO TULL

Founded in '67 in the United Kingdom by Ian Anderson, Scottish, the band takes its name from the agronomist Jethro Tull, pioneer of modern agriculture. After a start in the blues, the band experiments with different musical genres, dal folk al progressive, from hard rock to classical music. The first great success arrived already in '69. From then on the band will make inroads with the public, selling beyond 60 millions of records worldwide. Ian Anderson's personality becomes predominant. He was responsible for introducing the flute into rock. After a break of a few years, Jethro Tull are back in business in 2017. Their latest album was released last January, The Zealot Gene.
