Tao Christmas Fest, the program of Christmas events in Taormina is rich

The Tao Christmas Fest is at the starting line, the review promoted by the Department of Tourism, to Sport and Entertainment of the Sicilian Region and organized by the Taormina Arte Foundation, is characterized.. 16 December 2022 al 6 January 2023. A program full of activities, for the second edition of the festival realized within the wider “Taormina Winter Festival”. In fact, there will be numerous concerts, the cultural initiatives and exhibitions that will take place in the splendid Sicilian city. Admission to the shows is free while seats last.

The Tao Christmas Fest program 2022 for Taormina Winter Festival takes its cue, for the first three days, from the centenary of the birth of Pier Paolo Pasolini, with the screening of a selection of films by the director, a photographic exhibition and, still , a comparison between intellectuals, reporters, politicians and artists, on the issues addressed in life by the poet who more than any other has aroused the cultural debate in Italy.

The review continues with an intense activity that sees classical music as protagonists, jazz, swing, soundtracks, traditional songs and melodies. While a section will be dedicated to cinema, to photography, to poetry, to prose performances and to the contamination between the arts. The season, Moreover, is characterized by the collaboration between important bodies such as the Sciascia Foundation, the Cineteca di Bologna, the New Scarlatti Orchestra, the Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Sicilian Jazz Orchestra – The Brass Group Foundation, the State of Kazakhstan.
