Catania, in Librino two installations homage to Sant'Agata
In the popular Librino district in Catania it will be possible to pay homage to Sant'Agata all year round thanks to the two works installed by the patron Antonio Presti. There are already over 10 thousand people, between children and parents, who paid homage to the smiling Saint Agatha of Librino. His face, molded into ceramic, he looks with love and joy at the people of the neighborhood, rushed to ask her a prayer, to request protection. And the pilgrimage continues even after the end of the long procession that saw the city of Catania celebrating.

THE TRIBUTE TO SANT'AGATA
Antonio Presti accompanied numerous school groups along the new "Door of Butterflies”, where work continues on the construction of the building 50 monumental works. They will be created by the artists, by families and over 15 thousand children from the nine schools in the Etna suburbs. Continuing to educate about Beauty, he led young people along a journey that winds between art and devotion, to leave a trace in their hearts. «I strongly wanted to position the two works dedicated by the Patron Saint of the city – he explains Antonio Presti – to pay homage to the citizens and the Saint. Sing together with the children, under the sky of Librino, it took on a meaning for us that encompassed the eternal splendor of Faith. I'm really excited: the Agatina stage of this long journey of Love of mine has filled the neighborhood with celebrations".
A gift much appreciated by the families of the Librino neighborhood.
Gives Villa Maria you can easily reach Catania by car and by train (the railway station is just a few meters away) in about 20 minutes.
