The 12 The Hierophanies Festival opens in Giardini Naxos in October

It will be held from 12 al 24 October the “Hierofanie – The soul of Sicily” Festival, the places of the Sacred", now in its second edition, scheduled in the Archaeological Parks of Naxos-Taormina and Segesta. The artistic direction is by Claudio Collovà and the coordination of the cultural meetings is by Fulvia Toscano. The Festival, Promoted by the Regional Department of Cultural Heritage and Sicilian identity is produced and organized by Francesco Panasci for Panastudio Productions.

Born from an idea by Fulvia Toscano, Shared by the same Collovà and Panasci, "Irofanie" puts two emblematic places of culture in dialogue, through the languages of art: between music, theater, danza, Cultural workshops and meetings. Ierophanie It is a word coined by the philosopher and historian of the Mircea Eliade religions, which means manifestation of the sacred and this is the spirit of the Festival. Seven shows are scheduled, between music and theatre, four workshops and four cultural meetings in the archaeological parks of Giardini Naxos and Segesta.
