Located in the Alcantara Valley along the river of the same name, the Gorges were formed by the erosion of the lava rocks with the passage of the icy water of the river giving life to several spectacularly shaped walls, up to 25 meters high. Today they are part of the ‘Gole Alcantara’ Botanical and Geological Park included in the Alcantara River Park. Several activities are available: trekking, canyoning, quad biking, cycling, Jeep Tour and body rafting.
