Giarre, The Wind and Water Garden opens at the Radicepura Garden Festival

At the Radicepura Garden Festival on Saturday 24 among the most important sector events in Italy, The exhibition will be open to the public from 18.30, the garden is inaugurated Wind and water, Attempts at resilience, created by the architect Paolo Pejrone. In dialogue with the landscape architect Emanuela Rosa-Clot, director of the magazine Gardenia, Antonio Perazzi, artistic director of the Festival and Mario Faro, general director of the Festival.

The project, created by the famous architect, dialogues spontaneously with the place and with the theme of the Biennale year – The garden of plants – affirming a conscious belonging to the natural world. A garden in which a sincere relationship with plants and the environment is implemented every day. “The garden is a form of coexistence and an example of successful meetings, a laboratory of knowledge and experimentation. – declares Paolo Pejrone – Many of the plants we grow today have distant origins, they come from very different worlds and in the garden these relationships become an element of strength and not of weakness, happy attempts at peaceful coexistence, which give life to exuberant and unusual paths, therefore unique.”

The inauguration will also be an opportunity to present the book Wind and Water by Antonio Perazzi which traces the genesis of the project, through anecdotes and dialogues. At the base there is a true correspondence between the design thinking of the architect Pejrone and the Radicepura Park, a place dedicated to safeguarding and protecting biodiversity. Thus continues the fourth edition of Radicepura Garden Festival, that until 3 December will propose dialogues, conversations, theatrical performances and musical events.
